MATERIALS, SENSITIVITIES & WEARABLE ART CARE

SYLVERWEAR® jewelry is handmade wearable art, created using a variety of natural and manufactured components. Depending on the design, pieces may include natural stones, treated stones, manufactured decorative stones, handcrafted sculptural centerpieces, beads, wire, clasps, and metal findings. Materials vary by piece; not every design contains the same components.

Please review the individual product description and contact us before purchasing if you need clarification about a material, metal, finish, or treatment.

ALLERGIES & SKIN SENSITIVITIES

Individual sensitivities vary. We cannot guarantee that every material or finish will be suitable for every wearer. Unless expressly stated in an individual product description, our jewelry is not represented as hypoallergenic or nickel-free.

If you have a known allergy or sensitivity, please contact us before ordering. We will share the material information available to us and let you know if a component’s composition cannot be confirmed. If we cannot confirm that a piece is suitable for your needs, we recommend choosing another piece.

If irritation or discomfort occurs, discontinue wear. Seek medical advice as needed, and contact us with the product details so we can review your concern.

CARING FOR YOUR PIECE

Please handle your jewelry with care. Avoid pulling, bending, impact, excessive heat, prolonged moisture, and direct contact with perfumes, lotions, or cleaning chemicals. Remove jewelry before bathing, swimming, sleeping, or activities that could cause snagging or damage. Follow any additional care instructions provided for your particular piece.

Handmade centerpieces, stones, finishes, and other components may change with age and wear. Some damage or deterioration cannot be repaired, and one-of-a-kind designs may not be reproducible. Please see our Repairs & Restoration policy for assessment options and applicable charges.
